This is a very nice tools set for nail grooming, with one grinder body and 7 exchange heads. The idea is to trim a baby’s nails with a rotating polisher. This grinder has a beautiful design, runs very smoothly and quietly. It is very comfortable to grab and easy to use. The 7 exchange heads have a surface with different roughness varying from soft to rough. The rough head can also be used for adult. The speeds are not very high and are safe that won’t hurt you. It is very quick to charge the grinder.
Baby isn't here yet, but I wanted to give this a test before baby arrives. I put it on the lightest setting with the finest file, and I could keep my finger on it without any burning sensation. This file has a lot of settings and options, which is ideal for all ages. My only complaint is that there isn't any printed guidelines for which file to use for which age/month, like some of the other files I have seen have printed on them. All the guidance you have is that the files at the bottom are the finest, and that it gets progressively more coarse the higher you go up. This file also has a built in light at the tip for better viewing while filing. Overall, I love this file and would highly recommend this over clippers when clipping babys nails.

To be 100% honest we already own a battery version of this.. to me it was a game changer when I saw this is rechargeable versus having to change batteries! As any parent knows you get tired of constantly going through batteries! So to me, this was a total game changer and worth it! There’s feels much nicer than the other generic electric nail files on the market! I am completely impressed and would very much recommend it! There’s even a little spot to keep the charging cord, Genius, I don’t know how many charging cords I have and baggies and I have to figure out which one they go to what! Also, the light is more directed up to where the nail is and it’s a soft glow versus more of a flashlight above. This is literally the best baby electric nail file. And honestly, I still use it on my toddlers nails even though she’ll let you trim them they’re still sometimes nails or toenails that need to be filed so it’s a product that last a long time and a great baby gift that can grow with a child!
I have special needs kiddos who are afraid of getting their nails trimmed. I wanted to try this nail file on one of them to see if he could tolerate it with the vibration and noise. What resulted was that he felt comfortable. It was not too noisy, nor did it vibrate very much at all. It filed his thumb nail very well without any issues until the very end. Still, it wasn't like his typical reaction of crying and screaming. He just said, oh. That means it would have been nothing really, like he felt it or something. I'm excited to continue to use it.
I really like this nail trimmer. One thing that makes it easy to use is that it’s so ergonomically shaped, and the fact that it’s rechargeable. I love that I don’t have to deal with a cord getting in the way when I’m trying to use this. It comes with a variety of grinding heads: four for babies, and three for adults. The heads are really simple to switch out, so it’s a cinch to just find the one you want and mount it on the device. The noise level is minimal, and it only increases slightly depending on which speed is selected. As far as convenience goes, I think this is much easier to use on baby fingernails than clippers or scissors. Also, it does a nice job on adult fingernails as well. I had a sharp edge from a tear on my fingernail, and I used one of the file heads on this device to deal with the issue. It ground and shaped my nail down to a smooth edge again in no time. I think it’s a marvelous design and has a very versatile quality about it.
The Momcozy Electric Baby Nail File is an absolute game-changer for newborn care. It removes the fear of hurting your baby and replaces it with a fast, soothing, and foolproof experience. It is a must-have for any nursery and makes an excellent baby shower gift.• Pros: Automatic safety stop, incredibly quiet, rechargeable, built-in LED light, multi-age pads.• Cons: None major, though keeping track of the smaller interchangeable pads requires using the included storage case.
I likey! This is my first electric nail file and I think I’m hooked! Wow, and I thought my new manual nail file was great, but this thing blows it out of the water! So I read the manual (English, intelligible. Yay!) and picked the third disk from the top (the fourth item from the top), the Rough Grinding Head and I stuck the stick part into the hole at the top of the file and did a long press on the power button to turn in on.The storage box is really nifty. It’s easy for even me to open, so you should have no issues. The charging cable is under the green plastic that the nail file rests in, by the way (just lift it from the left side). Default is Sleeping Mode and so I used that. It works so fast! There is a learning curve if you want curved nails. If you don’t mind angles and line, then there’s no curve. I found it worked best in short swipes. It’s whisper quiet. If you change modes by pressing the power button again, the sound doesn’t get louder, it just gets higher by about a note each time. Fast mode was too fast for me. It ground down my nail before I could move it. The edges of my nails feel so smooth now! Oh, I love this thing! …I also used it on some rough cracked bits of skin at the ends of my nails and it wore that away, too! I did use the polishing one, but I didn’t really notice a difference (maybe slightly less dull?).It stops when I press it too hard or the Grinding Head is pressed too hard. I like that safety feature. It worked every time! The only thing that bothered me is that I have to go to the manual to figure out which grinding head is which. I’m sure I’ll have it memorized soon enough, but it would be nice if they were labelled somewhere. Oh! They are! Half of them are labelled on the bottom side :) So nothing bothers me at all!I recommend! Jump into the twenty-first century with an electric nail file! Though I still love my analog manual files, I have a feeling I’ll be reaching for this one and fending off other members of my family! I love this thing :)12/21/23 Update: I’d used the “Infant” one on my adult nails and the grit at the top chipped off. I guess my grownup nails were too much for it? I realize the that grinding head was not meant for adult use. I still like it a lot, though!02/14/24 Update: I still love this thing :) I’ve gotten much better at using it and I love the way my nails don’t split, crack or peel anymore. It’s really amazing. I haven’t had to charge it and I use it three or four times a week (anytime I see a nail getting rough at the edges). Much recommend!
These are exactly as described and my baby who hates to have his nails trimmed did not mind it at all. The quality and the fact that it’s rechargeable is also great! My only complaint is that it would help to have the age for the different trimming heads on the actual head instead of just in the instructions. Right now the ones for adults is a different color than the ones for the infant but the ones for the infant do not say how many months it’s for as specified in the instructions.

The Good: USB rechargeable, so no more batteries or power cords. Lots of built in safety features and runs quietly. Easy to hold and manipulate. Fits easily into baby travel/diaper bag.The Bad: It is More time consuming than traditional clipping, and baby may fidget extending the session. Luckily it is very portable and can be used while baby is napping.Overall: I was weary at first as the idea of a grinding wheel on a babies fingers and toes sounded more like torture, but the safety features will prevent such concerns. The biggest fear of clipping a babies fingers/toes is that you would clip some skin; this device resolves those concerns. Recommend.
This little file is a lifesaver for keeping my baby's razor-sharp nails in check without the screaming sessions. It's super quiet and the sandpaper heads are gentle enough that I don't have to worry about accidentally snipping or hurting those tiny fingers. Here's why I like it:-Safe & gentle: Sandpaper heads are soft and won't harm delicate nails.-Whisper-quiet: No more startling the baby with loud clippers.-Easy to use: Lightweight and ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold.-Multiple heads: Comes with different grit options for different nail thicknesses.Small downsides:-Takes a bit longer than traditional clippers for thicker nails.-You do need to replace the sandpaper heads eventually.
This nail trimmer provided a safe and effective way to trim my baby’s nails without causing any harm or pain. The trimmer has a rechargeable battery so it’s portable and cordless which I don’t have to deal with any messy wires. The trimmer is low noise and it has an adjustable speed control to make sure I don’t hurt my baby’s nails. The LED light make it easy to see what I am doing and even in the dark. The tips are easy to change and replace and easy to use an operate.
This is a handy gadget for filing infant, toddler, and even adult nails. I like that it's one tool that can be used for everyone. There are 4 speed settings that can be selected with a push of a button. I appreciate that there are indicator lights showing what speed you have chosen. There's a nice selection of grinding wheels to select from, designed for infants through adults.I mostly bought this for my own personal use. I have a toenail that is in the process of falling off (It turned blue from having shoes without a sufficiently wide toe box while walking 5 miles a day). I haven't been able to trim or file it properly with manual clippers and files as they leave sharp edges on this hard to get to toenail. This handy machine helped me to file/grind the awkward nail down so there are no sharp edges to catch and pull. It also worked well to shape my fingernails. I found it to be easy to hold and use.We have the grandchildren over regularly, and this will be handy if they break a nail or need a trim while visiting. This tool is runs very quietly, so would be unlikely to startle an infant or young toddler who is sound sensitive. It comes in a handy carrying case with holes for each of the tools and a spot underneath for the USB A to USB C power cord. You'll need a USB A charging block to plug it into for charging. I think we all have those around the house to power our electronics.Overall, I'm quite happy with this nail file tool. It's effective and comes in a handy case.As a side note, this Momcozy Baby Nail File is made in China.
I have a 19 week old son and I have been way too afraid to cut his nails with the generic tiny nail clipper set we got at his baby shower. This means my wife had to always do it because every week or so his nails become little talons and he scratches his face if she doesn't. So I thought I would give this a try. There is a heavy duty cuttings sanding and polishing tip for adult nails and I tried it on my nails first to be sure that it seemed safe for him. It has a nice feature that in the lower speeds you really can't put much pressure on it before it stops but in the highest speed it will still do a good job on adult nails.Seen as it seemed very safe to me I tried it on my sons nails this morning as a number of them felt pretty sharp. On speed 2 of 4 using the 3-6 month file I was able to clean up each hand so that it no longer felt sharp in under 2 minutes. A couple times it touched his finger and he didn't mind at all. There was no visible mark left on his finger by my mistake. This seems very easy and very functional and allows me to help with another baby task!
I got the Momcozy baby nail trimmer hoping I could use it to gently and quietly file down my cat's nails. He does not like anything done to his nails and they get very sharp. Unfortunately, this would not work on him as it does make a high pitch buzzing sound as soon as you turn it on.The next day a friend came over and mentioned her babies nails were getting long and she was having a difficult time trimming them. I quickly pulled this out and we tested it out while baby was relaxing. It worked perfectly! Effectively trimmed the nails down and got rid of all rough edges for her. The baby did not mind the quiet whirring noise the machine makes when turned on.Things that could be improved:The different age range nail plates are not labeled anywhere on them or the case. You have to look in the booklet for the intended age range. This is okay upon first use, but unless you are putting them back in the same slot each time, you will soon not know which is for which nail.
